Precious Yaa is the vocalist on Tony Marinacci's song "Better Than". The track "Keep On" is a true collaboration between the two. Yaa came up with the original lyrics and the vocal melody. Tony wrote the music, and when the two met up to go over the track the song pretty much wrote itself. This was one of Yaa's first original songs and she says that Tony is the first Producer to ever understand the concept she was going for.
Born & raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Yaa has always been able to sing, but never thought to pursue music as a career. Her parents came to the United States from Ghana before she was born. She did what was expected of her and went to Penn State and got a degree. It was at this point that she reached a crossroads in her life. That’s when the lyrics and melodies began to flow and her music career began. Today, Yaa is a songwriter that sets herself apart with a sweet and soulful sound. With memorable lyrics and melodies, Yaa has has music that the world needs to hear.
