Projects
Bogie continues to show that he is one of the finest guitar players anywhere. He is touring with Andy Williams and plays all around his home base of Branson Missouri.
Robert "Bogie" Bohinc is a
very accomplished Guitarist who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He
worked with Jazz Saxophonist Joe Lovano and studied with Guitarists
Kenny Burrell and Pat Martino. He moved to Los Angeles where
he lived for 20 years during which time he did studio work and
was a so-called "Road Rat" working with various performers
mainly in Las Vegas, Reno/Tahoe, and Atlantic City. In 1993 he
moved to Branson, Missouri and became Guitarist and Musical Director
for various production shows. Currently Bogie is working for
the Andy Williams / Ann Margret show and also "The Ragin'
Cajun Doug Kershaw". He also is starting his 5th year at
Branson's only 5 star hotel "Chateau On The Lake" with
his jazz trio on Saturday nights.
THE DAILY GRIND: Robert "Bogie"
Bohinc, 49 years old, plays guitar for three daily shows in Branson,
Mo., which calls itself "the live music show capital of
the world." The shows include "Breakfast With the Classics"
at 9:30 a.m. and two later shows based on Neil Diamonds
music. Mr. Bohinc, who makes $50 to $80 per show, doesnt
find the schedule as difficult as a past one that had him playing
an 11 p.m. show and an 8 a.m. show. "That was a bit of a
grind," he says. By: Carlos Tajada - Staff Reporter
