Part 3: ground zero interviews
Voices From Heaven
Reflections from average souls
In July of 2002 John Vento along with
photographer Tim Kachuriak visited ground zero. Though the clean
up was well under way the tragic site was still filled with horror
and fear.
Ironically the interviews filmed were
conducted in the middle of the night (3AM), even at this late
hour people surrounded the grounds of America's worst single
attack.
Part 4: Butch Clark poetry reading
When The Pieces Fall Into Place
Vietnam veteran Butch Clark of Sarver,
PA penned the lyrics to "When The Pieces Fall Into Place"
after seeing combat and death for the first time during the height
of the Vietnam war. Nearly 30 years later, Clark's words were
put to music on John Vento's CD, "Reflections Of An Average
Soul". The accompanying music was written by John Fox.
As part of "The Day The Lady
Cried" DVD package, photographer/producer Tim Kachuriak
recorded Butch Clark reciting his poem in August of 2002.

She stood in the harbor
On a bright September day
The sun from the dawning
Began to warm her face
And her heart is fair
Trust is everywhere
Majestically she posed
Her torch showed us the way
Another American welcome
To a new American day
And her heart is good
Comforting the world
Well then a mighty evil dragon
Came down from the sky
With a bloody crash of thunder
It took what was right
As she looked from the distance
A tear fell from her eye
It later come to pass
As the day the lady cried
It was a bright September morning
On a warm September day
Never had a warning
Innocence gone away
And her heart is mad
Fire in her eyes |
A people all together
A people learn to fight
Standing side by side
Fighting wrong from right
And her heart is strong
The battle may be long
Well then a mighty evil dragon
Came down from the sky
With a bloody crash of thunder
It took what was right
As she looked from the distance
A tear fell from her eye
It later came to pass
As the day the lady cried
Now let me hear..
Voices from heaven
Voices from pain
All those paid so dearly
Surely will rise again
And all those that love them
Will never let them die
Though they struggled mightily
On the day the lady cried |
